The MCH Master&#8217;s Scholars Program provides support for <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">outstanding <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>master&#8217;s<\/strong><\/span> students to pursue research, a thesis, practice experience, etc. in areas related to the health and well-being of mothers, infants, children, and adolescents. Interested master\u2019s students enrolled in the Arnold School of Public Health (ASPH) are invited to submit a 2-page grant proposal describing a project that can be completed by May 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each Master&#8217;s Scholar is awarded up to $2,000 in tuition supplement during the spring.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;2_5&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; toggle_level=&#8221;h3&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>U.S. citizen or permanent resident<\/li>\n<li>Student must be enrolled as a master\u2019s student in ASPH for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters<\/li>\n<li>Minimum graduate USC cumulative GPA: 3.0<\/li>\n<li>Student must identify an ASPH faculty member to serve as their project mentor prior to submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Application Materials&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; toggle_level=&#8221;h3&#8243; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Proposal narrative should include the following:\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Project Title<\/li>\n<li>Project Goals<\/li>\n<li>Significance<\/li>\n<li>Project description and plan<\/li>\n<li>Key milestones (timeline, final products, presentations)<\/li>\n<li>Importance of this experience for your student career development<\/li>\n<li>Maternal and Child Health relevance<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>All figures and tables must be included in the page limit.<\/li>\n<li>No appendices are permitted.<\/li>\n<li>References\/bibliography are NOT included in the two-page limit.<\/li>\n<li>Use Arial 11-point font with at least 0.5-inch margin (top, bottom, left, and right) for all pages.<\/li>\n<li>Applications that do not adhere to any one of the above guidelines <strong>will not be<\/strong> <strong>reviewed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;Expectations of Scholar Awardees&#8221;
